Since 2012, Ansley Ward has been using her passion for capturing the stories of extra-ordinary people living ordinary lives to touch the hearts of thousands. Doing all of the interviewing, filming, and editing herself allows her video work to stay true to the subject matter. Her projects have brought the unique and powerful insight that only lived experience can bring to the public’s understanding of dementia, and has inspired tens of thousands of dollars in donations to non-profits around the North Florida area.

With a family history of Alzheimer’s Disease, Ansley understands firsthand what a gift it is to be able to use technology to save a person’s story, in their own words and through the words of those who know them best, before dementia marches across their mind. For 3 years, Ansley was a care partner to her friend Mitzi, as she walked through the journey of Early-Onset Alzheimer’s before away at passing away at age 58. During their time together, as Ansley documented Mitzi’s days through video and photos, it became Ansley’s mission to help raise awareness about this incurable disease by recording the stories of those affected by it.

Inspired by Mitzi’s courage in sharing her own story in the hopes of helping others, I’ll Remember For You was launched in 2018. Thanks to generous gifts and support from those who believe and appreciate the importance of these personal stories, Ansley offers her services free of charge to those who are willing to share their own journey with the world. It is her sincere hope that someday, a cure will be found and the need for I’ll Remember For You will become a memory…
