I love how God has all of the smallest details of our lives laid out well in advance…like the fact that one of Mitzi’s longtime friends is a nurse. She has been meeting with us for quite some time now, keeping tabs on this disease and its progression, and being a constant source of advice and genuine caring. It is invaluable to have her professional perspective because she can pick up on changes month over month, and now that we are meeting with her every couple of weeks, she can shed light on the changes she sees more often. Being with Mitzi 5 days a week can make it difficult to catch things, so her observations and tips are so helpful as this disease continues its relentless march across the mind… ????
