This was so cool…we were walking this morning and saw a cardinal darting in and out of the trees flying with us. I had a mini conversation with God, only halfway serious, and said, “You know, God, it would be so cool if we could get a picture of me and Mitzi with the cardinal but he will not stay still long enough. I’d really appreciate it if you could make that happen.” About 5 minutes later, we got back to her driveway and as we were turning to walk up it, I heard a shrill tweet behind us. I turned to look and there in the tree was our feathered friend, obviously trying to get my attention. He stayed long enough for me to get all 3 of us in the frame. Even if we aren’t all looking at the camera, it was such a perfect illustration for me this morning that He is always listening…even to the small things…????
