We kept moving locations today since that helps keep anxiety down. Fortunately, we have lots of spots around town where we can find a friendly hug and something neat to see, even on short notice.
Mitzi has a great affinity for sea turtles (even had a nest named in her honor back in 2017), so when I saw that our sweet and talented artist friend, Nancy, was painting one at one of the children’s rehab centers, we added it to this week’s Bucket List and got permission to stop by to check it out. Plus, we got a free hug…or 5! Mitzi was tired, as she tends to get by the early afternoons these days, but she still enjoyed the art…and especially the hugs! ????
